The series has potential, but there's some choppy bits. Not enjoying how she's unfolding the story. I'm really getting tired of all these main female characters who are virgins and fall for the first guy they have sex with. The concept of these controlling men are not appealing to me.

Read this back in high school. It was a banned book off and on then strictly for the cursing which wasn't smeared through the book. Just a little here and there. The story was good, for a teenager, but now looking back on what I remember it was a very dark and depressing book. I'm not a big fan of self loathing and deprecating plots without any character development.
